Read Atom at the school

It's the second time I've read Ever Atom at the school and I'm happy to say that the kids enjoy it ... they call it Atom Bubble and the Bubble book.  I'm still a little shy reading it out loud, but I think I'll get over that with practice.  It's my "group speaking" anxiety, and I've spoken in front of 150 parents, so I guess reading my book in front of a room full of kids should be easy, right?  :)

I also had time to write a story for a little boy that was leaving the school; a personal story for him with pictures and a little 'good message'.  I called it Cash Giant (maybe someday I'll submit it to my publisher) and it was also read to a classroom yesterday.  The idea is to write a story for each of the kids in the school, plus for my own.  I like to write, feels natural, and I think it's a very cool gift idea for the kids - they are great kids and how neat and inspiring to be the star of your own book!  Not particularly cookie-cutter either, but a personalized story.  Who knows what effect it could have on their lives?  Good, amazing, I hope.

Much Love ... ♥
